Description: In this practical course, you will learn everything you need to know about filling, frosting and decorating cakes with buttercream and various piping techniques. Whether you are a beginner or already have experience in baking, this course will give you the skills you need to create beautiful, professional cakes. From the correct preparation of the buttercream to artistic decorations using various piping techniques, we will show you step by step how to achieve stunning results with buttercream
Contents: Important materials and tools (cake knife, piping bags, piping nozzles, turntable). Making and consistency of buttercream. The correct technique for filling a cake evenly. Using different fillings and crunches. Tips for an even and stable result. How to cover the cake smoothly with buttercream without leaving unsightly grooves or gaps. Using buttercream as a basis for different decorating techniques. Introduction to the different piping nozzles (e.g. stars, leaves, roses, lines).
Target group: This course is aimed at hobby bakers who want to take their cake decorating skills to the next level, as well as anyone who wants to learn the art of cake filling and covering professionally.
Conclusion: Each participant receives a certificate and can take their decorated cake (Ø15cm) home to eat.
Previous knowledge: No previous knowledge required. The course is aimed at beginners and advanced learners who want to expand their skills.
Duration: approx. 2.5 - 3.0 hours
